The Palos Hills Police Department wishes to warn all residents that large increases in individuals fraudulently calling people, claiming to be an IRS official are being made. Unsolicited calls and robocalls to taxpayers are being made, and they are demanding that people send them cash.

Parking on City Streets from 2am to 6am
Per City Ordinance 10.08.040
No motor vehicle shall be parked, stopped or left standing, whether attended or unattended, on a public thoroughfare, public highway or street in Palos Hills between 2:00AM and 6:00AM on any day of the week.
Overnight Parking Exceptions:
All night parking shall be granted provided the citizen contacts our dispatch centers non-emergency number (708) 598-2151 and provides their name, address, vehicle information and telephone number.
Exception may only be granted up to three times per year for (3) consecutive nights each. Any extension must be approved by The Police Department Watch Commander.
No overnight exceptions shall be given when snow begins to fall until snow removal operations have been completed. The police department may also suspend overnight exceptions anytime overnight snowfall is expected.
Please DO NOT call 9-1-1 for overnight parking.
